The Source Young Adult Group is a part of First Church of the Open Bible in Spokane, Washington. We have a vision for the young adults of our city to have a group specifically designed to meet their needs in every way. It is also our heart to provide meaningful connection for every person who comes. We do this through intentionally planned activities such as day trips to various Northwest hot spots, monthly fun activities, camping and much more.
Monthly, we produce a newsletter that communicates upcoming activities & services. It also includes a calendar as well as advertisements for the months sermon series.
We have a variety of things during the month that makes our group a family. All our young adults come together on Sunday nights at 7PM for our weekly Main Event service.
Our young adults love to keep busy and love to have fun. Truly, it is a great community to be a part of.
Who is the Source?
What powers your life on a daily basis? Everyone has a power source. The Bible says that my God shall supply all our needs according to his glorious riches. Jesus also said that, “whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.” There is only one Source; there will never be another. Jesus is the only Source for our lives. Regardless of our need or situation, He is the only one who can provide for our needs and fill holes in our heart.
We can try everything that the world has to offer, but it will always leave us empty, until we come to the cross and find the only true source for our life, Jesus Christ. Look to Him today for all your needs, emotional, financial, spiritual, physical, whatever it is, it is not too big for The Source.
